INSTALLATION OF REBAR CAGE
After drilling and grouting each Auger Pile Barcus installed a 25 ft rebar cage and full-length center bar. The rebar projection above grade required detailed planning and look ahead with respect to the pile installation sequence.
STRICT QUALITY CONTROL & SAFETY
Continuing to install production piles in the excavation. As the site became more congested Barcus held daily meetings with the GC Flintco to discuss completing the pile foundation as efficiently as possible while maintaining a strict quality control and safety standard.
WORKING CONCURRENTLY WITH OTHER TRADES
Barcus was successful in scheduling our work and able to sequence the pile installation to allow for multiple trades to be working concurrently. While Barcus was still installing piles, Flintco was able to start forming and pouring pile caps early and improve their overall schedule.
